Slash said in his book that when he married Rene they did have a prenup so the divorce went smoothy. Why didn't he make sure to have a prenup when he married Perla? It's the law, he knew that and he decided not to use a prenup, it's his own fault and even if i don't care at all for Perla i don't really like this "deserving" thing, if you go by that no spouse shouldn't partake in any of the money earned by their other spouse even while married, what work have they done themself to deserve their spouse's money? If you pool your resources together you don't do it because your partner deserves something and if you don't take steps as prenups this is what happens if you separate, your assets can diminish. I'm not a Perla fan, but what did anyone expect? Perla doesn't strike me as somebody who has ever pretended to be someone she's not. And she was a groupie for chrissake. Slash married her (twice!), had two chidren with her, even got her involved in his business. And no pre-nup? Jesus. So many terrible decisions- on Slash's part. Perla's decisions have worked out very well for her. To a certain extent, these rockstars just ask for this shit. Well educated women with their own careers (and money) are out there, but they don't have the allure of a b level lingerie model/dancer/stripper/video vixen. And that's fine. But lingerie model/dancer/stripper/video vixens have early expiration dates. They gotta make money somehow after age 30. These guys need to be self aware enough to know that they are taking part in a transaction. That ballet dancer that Mick Jagger just knocked up? Just completed her transaction. Did Mick really think that she was hungry for some 70 year old?
