DieselDaisy
Munich is a lovely city. You wouldn't catch me standing outside a hotel for a momentary glimpse of some old fart rocker if I was in Munich. (Heck, I wouldn't even do that for a cricketer haha). Go and see a museum instead.
AFGnR
Reasons to watch GnR in 2017: See three 'original' members reunited. Go to a big show, get caught up in the atmosphere and hear the hits. Enjoy some covers.
Guns n' Swedes
People loved it and so did the band. You cant fake that kind of happiness. imo, what sounds like mickey on youtube, sounds very good most of the time live nr, scom and ycbm would need a lot more rasp though

I'm going to be there from saturday evening until thursday morning and got time to spare to do that on monday. DieselDaisy
Just now, AlexC said: I guess you're just cooler than the rest of us. Listen, I had the chance to attend a meeting with Ian Botham the other day and I turned it down because, 'I couldn't be arsed'. I'm completely unfazed by celebrity. They are just people as I said. I find it sort of subservient to be fawning over them to be honest - I wouldn't demean myself. I wasn't always like that. I have Pavel Srníček's autograph somewhere that I obtained on a pink bit of paper; do not know where it is?
Popular Post EricA
Back at home after 3 days in munich, tired as fuck, with some thought -> The question is, what remains ...? So what does really remain, after we have waited 25 years for this reunion, with at least three of the protagonists, of the most dangerous band of our youth? This can only be answered by everyone for himself, and by answered, i mean go and visualise it for yourself! Taking pictures, recording videos, was'nt allowed to us in the 80s and 90s, because of lack of equipment and "permission". Our today's small mobile companions make EVERYTHING possible, even the whole world at the same time can watch what we are experiencing at this moment! Had we had these opportunities back at the time, would the gaze of some into the past, still be so transfigured? Some may have looked for their personal GnR gold pot at the end of the 30-year-old rainbow in this reunion! The gold pot, and that is certain, definitely belong to the band! BUT the rainbow we may go along with them, and sure...one or the other of us will leave it halfway ! Possibly with the very surprising realization that Axl, Duff and Slash have grown older, have changed, and the GnR world has continued ! And now honestly, are WE still the same as 25 years ago, hopefully not !? The eternal thing would be, with regard to the "missing" band members, that it is nothing, but the defiant attempt to bring back the "good old time", and only to prove itself, how cool we all were back then ! Those who still going along the rainbow with the band together till the end, do not get anything from the gold pot, BUT an unforgettable 3 hours of music spectacle burned in heart and brain! ... and what remains now? For me a radiant rainbow, hardly in words to describe, for others ... bitter black rain clouds! Yes...but what the hell...we have no influence on the weather, right? Spoiler to all german speaking people here's the text i wrote in my first language... Ja was soll's, auf's Wetter haben wir halt keinen Einfluss, gell ?!? love it or hate it, that's me and my attitude Edited June 14, 2017 by EricA

GNR 1991
That was def one of stronger Jungle performances vocally. Axl has learned how to tame that rugged voice (the "you can have anything you want, betta not take it from me" voice) that he started using again last year.
colonizedmind
How was the voice on this one? I've been so busy, had Download (Aerosmith) at the weekend, then Prophets of Rage last night, then Guns all weekend and Hans Zimmer on the Sunday, sandwich with a visit to the Pink Floyd Expo ! My ears will thank me in the after life So missed anything ? Hope all that attended the recent gigs had a blast ! Would I be right in saying, the usual steady progression is in swing? We don't talk about that (Poor Duff)...Funny story though, was at the O2 in London on Monday night to see the new Mummy film and myself and my friend ended up crashing the Golden Gods, being held in the Indigo O2 (inside) and saw the last band ! xBrownstonex
I don't know who that second support act was, but she was totally at the wrong show. The music wasn't bad, for when youre lying on the couch and getting high, but not for a rock concert. It was more of a downer and people were cheering when she announced the last song.
xBrownstonex
What I also noticed. People really enjoyed the seeker. Dancing and singing. Now that he sings clean, he is BAD. If you like his vocals, thats because it doesnt sound that bad. Not bad for pop singing, bad terrible for the Axl we know.
