The city of STL and fans here had absolutely nothing to do with it. A few hundred drunk idiots at the concert doesn't mean everyone rioted. To answer your question - not a lot has been said, but maybe tomorrow it will be more 'news worthy'. Ah ok, I thought you meant the fans at the concert that rioted. Pretty sure most of Axl's feud with St.Louis had to do with the city government, btw. Edited July 26, 2017 by Kasanova King
Fitha_whiskey
Personally, I think a bar named Hair of the Dog sounds like the perfect place to hang out before the show. That's where I'm gonna try anyway. Unless it sucks, or unless someone else has a better place in mind... Always would like to meet some forum peeps... It starts at 7 pm, but I read that the bar is open til 3 am, so I imagine the party will be going strong for a pretty decent amount of time. I don't believe there are any "official" plans for a pre-show gathering tomorrow, but it sounds like there are lots of bars near the venue. I'm sure those will be full of fellow fans doing some celebrating. As far as merch goes, I do think that some stands usually open outside the venue prior to doors. I'm not sure what time the merch stands usually open, but maybe someone else can answer that better than I can. That totally sucks. Have you checked out America's Best Value Inn on 3rd St.? It's super close to the Dome, and has by far been the cheapest place that close to the venue available these past couple of months. Doesn't seem like the nicest of places, but if you're just looking for a place to have as your home base, I'd say check it out. I was originally planning to stay there, but ended up scoring a nearby Airbnb earlier this month. FYI Hair is at 1212 Washington Ave. I think you accidentally left the 1 off. Wouldn't be surprising if they are traveling separate for the US run. Slash n Duff can buzz home between shows for family etc....sleep in own beds few nights a week. Erez_rose
Anyone has an idea where they staying? Or even where to start looking? I saw a few posts on here about it but doesn't seem like an expensive enough hotel for the band. Anyone?

I hear a lot of the crew was staying at the Magnolia which makes sense since it is basically across the street from the dome. Not sure if the band is staying there too. Four Seasons would also make sense. If anyone hears for sure, please post. Edited July 26, 2017 by ComaSTL

Also, since it is right near Busch, you will have to deal with Cardinals gameday traffic/crowds. Remember, there is a Cardinal game the same time tomorrow and Cardinals fans typically come out in force - even during a down year.

telly
O/T but I like having chairs when i have good seats to stop people from trying to move up to my spot and/or being able to get a beverage and still have my spot. to each their own.
