Apart from Man City, it was the easiest possible path to the final from the group stages onwards. Madrid beat Dortmund, PSG, Juventus and Bayern. Other than City, only beat Porto/Roma. Hamstringed the creative players. Broke the offensive game. Boring and ineffective. Perfect for a player like Hazard. When he had to let his players loose in the second half, with one against, everything was much better. It suddenly became an entertaining game with chances! To Mourinho it is more important to avoid goal against than to score, even with creative, offensive players like Pogba on the team. It is boring, disruptive, and not the Manchester United way!
