What’s your track list for CDII?

Recommended Posts

For anyone who likes full albums, you know how having a sense of cohesion is. Since we’re getting a bunch of singles along with leaks, a lot of us are compiling our own CDII collection. I’m trying to order mine and wanted to see other opinions.

1.) Hard Skool

2.) ABSURD

3.) Perhaps

4.) Atlas Shrugged

5.) The General

6.) Monsters

7.) Going Down

8.) OMG

9.) State of Grace

10.) Nothing

I think Hard Skool works as the best opener, being a commercial song with a ISE like bass start. Nothing works as the closer due to the mellow elevator like music.

A CD II release would have been amazing after the CD tour 2009-2011.

End of 2011 , after Rock in Rio where they would have played Hard School, they release a live DVD for Xmas . Fans =Happy

2012 - CD II  = Fans super happy

2013 -2015 CDII Tour .

Better's already been released too, so surely the same logic apllies, regardless if it's been tweaked (which Oh By God no doubt would be)?

SIDE A

1.Hard Skool

2.Absurd

3.Perhaps

4.The General and Monsters

SIDE B

5.Atlas Shrugged

6.Berlin

7.Seven

8.Quick Song (renamed to No Words to excuse the gibberish)

Just put that out and call it an EP. I would throw others in there like Curly Shuffle and Me & My Elvis, but I don’t think any of those actually have vocals. State of Grace’s vocal track is not good enough to warrant a release. Eye On You grew on me but it doesn’t fit the GnR vibe. Nothing is just a sketch. Cuban Skies probably has vocals but I bet it’s stupid.

Nice.

But I'm afraid it will find its way on facebook, Reddit, discord etc, and then reposted here by someone asking if it's legit

Reddit users do tend to be a bit simple/born yesterday kinda thing

Things like is this real, or a poll of 'which version of you're crazy' do you like best, is   a daily thing

Different version, hence me saying new intro & Slash's solo , bit like they released crazy on afd & lies...the omg thing here is ,you're all putting the exact single already released once on another record, no mention of it being any different

Because the quality of the Bumblefoot leak is pretty shit, and the End Of Days version is still a good song. On an actual album, of course it would be the updated version. :shrugs:

You also put Rock The Rock...

At least it has vocals, & proof of existence...not just a track with no vocals like the most of what the village stuff was

End of days version is mint, leave it as it is, I'd still rather hear a studio Wichita over Better 2.0 or whatever it would be called

Why don't you think they have vocals? Based on what? We ain't heard them so they can't have? Otherwise how could you know? We need to be more open to the fact, there's growing evidence that lots of other recording occured after that small window we have access to 99/2000...a lot of it we know little about....03-05 is especially a big mystery....Axl was obviously still tinkering and working hard on things up until at least 2008, that's a full 8 years of possibilities....by the law of averages at the very least, a bunch of those early demos have vocals at this point...finished vocals? That's another question....but one assumes if as Axl said CD2 was ready to go by 2014, it had to have at least 10-14 tracks....
