If you go listen to the run of Slash solo shows leading up to the reunion all of the GNR songs sound better instrumentally than they did when GNR's line-up played them. If you had Axl/Slash/Duff/Frank (Sidoris) and Fitz play the GNR shows without all of the Synth it would feel like a religious experience in terms of how drastically the quality of the music would increase. It would sound so much more like GNR than the GNR line-up that presently exists.

I don't care what lIp service Slash is giving about the NITL lineup, his playing is far superior with SMKC lineup that with the NITL lineup. There has to be some reason for the sudden drop off in his playing that many people were pointing out during the NITL tour. He was playing better than he ever had leading up to that tour.

thunderram
What do you think the odds are that AXL ever sees this video? That's how the song is supposed to be played. 3
Ralphelmo
Maybe we'll see him in a guest performance next summer during US leg of the tour... Or in Europe/Asia if schedules are ok? Duff and Richard made it, I doubt Axl has any beef with SMKC as he never met the guys. Even Dizzy and Tracii Guns played with Todd Kerns. I don't think he has beef either, but I'm not sure an Axl guest spot would work. I'm a big MK fan, but even I realize the crowd might be a little disappointed when Axl leaves and Myles comes back out.
Ralphelmo
Like people are coming to SMKC shows because they want Axl not Myles, lol.
