Series premiere is Thursday night, February 27th. This is the second original show from Sundance, with Rectify being the first. Previews look good. I'm going to give it a shot. wasted Posted February 27, 2014 Share Posted February 27, 2014 I started with season 2. The episodes I've seen have been great. Very hard boiled, high levels of vixens detected. It took a couple of eps to get this Indian and Amish divide. Each ep is a little different. Ep 5 was great. It looks very simple but is very stylish, it gets close to porn in parts but the violence is fast and brutal. Some tough bitches in this show. There's a bit of bad romance element to it but they don't shy away from a cold prison shower nude scene. I'm not sure if it's Country Noir but there seems to be a lot of it around. Really disappointed about that. Liked all of the episodes, but thought the show was really starting to hit its stride the latter half of the season. Noticed it was on Netflix and had Damian Lewis in it so I thought I'd give it a go. Pleasantly surprised, started the show yesterday and I'm 7 episodes in. It's one of those detective/cop shows, but it manages to set itself apart from the others with Lewis's quirky performing, and some genuinely good mysteries. I was going to go out to the gym but I ended up watching the 2nd episode too, (still went gym) - Something about 'the holy grail of comics', a really good copy of Action Comics # 1, the introduction of Superman, and the second episode was about Back To The Future.
