DieselDaisy
I dont give a fuck about fucking vegas. I want new music. I love this mans voice and the songs he has written. but this is slowely choking my interest in this band.. so consider me a hater, consider me a slash reumoiist or whatever, i couldnt give a fuck about slash anyway. I guess im not a fan since i want more from this band than a celine dion/motley crue recidemcy.I think 20 years ago, axl wouldve loved to hear that, team brazil doesn't. put me on the black list 'nandohappy valendrunks dayI wish people would stop buying tickets for the simple reason that I see a definite connection between, people continuing to pay for these absurd shows, and no new material. So, so long as you do it, ladies and gents, TB will not be releasing material anytime soon.
volcano62
Maybe people paying for these shows is not as "absurd" as you seem to claim.Imagine the possibility of people going out, having a fun night drinking and listening to their favorite band?Woah....mind blown huh DD? Imagine how more interesting and exciting the gig would be?

Imagine how more interesting and exciting the gig would be?the casual fans attending those shows don't care about new music, they only want the gnr hits. the only people who care about a new album are the 200 members of the online community, that's obviously not enough to invest money in a new album Edited February 16, 2014 by IZZYISGNR

If Axl truly believes this - and this is the reason for them not releasing records - then, he is all over as an artist. Finite. The band are finished. Are fans however, attending concerts by Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Slash, Neil Young, Alice In Chains (et al.), any, less casual, than Guns N' Roses' audiences? The reason I say this is, all those artists have released albums within the last two years. I truly believe you get the fans you deserve: if Axl plays greatest hits sets in Vegas forever more, he is only going to attract fans of the touristy, ''play September Rain'', nature. Crowds are going to be inherently, more casual, the more the band panders to the casual hordes.

Angelica
What the living hell fuck!? An Evening of Destruction isn't the worst idea, but who suggested the 'No Trickery!' part, and why weren't they fired (after being pointed and laughed at until they cried)?
