I would doubt a comedian really has more than a mic & maybe a back drop.Having the same show twice in one night is quite common in Vegas, but Prince's shows were at 8pm and 11:30pm and it's the exact same setup for both shows...Jim Jefferies is scheduled for 8:00pm. The doors are likely to be open at 8:00pm for the GnR shows, a bit earlier for VIP.The Jefferies show is likely to be all seated. Crowds at the venue are starting to get quite large by this time.I'm not saying it's impossible, I'm just saying these 2 shows will not happen on the same night in the same venue. We were given a number to text for updates and that's it.So because the Hard Rock gave out this info that they shouldn't have, we now have people bitching and blaming the band/management? False release dates have become the MO of GnR over the past couple of years. One time is a mistake or freak of nature......but this pretty much happens anytime there is some sort of release information with this band.Try this on for size and tell me how it feels to you: "In spite of a fan notice on an internet forum, no specific dates have been agreed on for the potential upcoming 2014 Vegas residency. As soon as we know the dates, we'll pass them on to you."----Team Brazil, Axl, Del, etc. (That took me literally less than 30 seconds to type).Followed up by "Thank you all for your patience regarding new music from the current band. We know it's been more than five years since our last release, and that you all are chomping at the bit to hear a new album. Our goal as a band is to have a new album in your hands by the end of this summer. Our band members want that album out as much as you guys to and we are all working hard to make that happen. We'll give you a progress update in a couple months. Thanks for your support!" --- Axl, Team Brazil, Del, etc.This is stuff that EVERY other band in the world does, or that their management team is capable of doing.There is no reason that GnR can't get this right.Put me in charge and you'll have ZERO f*ck-ups like this happen. While I agree with you in most of these cases, in this case GNR just said they were going to announce Spring Vegas dates soon, nothing more, so we can't really blame them in this case.
