ColdHeartBreaker
Dare you guys to shout "Axl, come back to mygnr" infact; get a permanent marker and write it on BS's chest and make him go shirtless!BS -- you're fuckibg dropped if you decline! K? Thanx have fun xxFor the record, he did actually shout it MyGnR? MyGnR?Only the biggest fan forum for Guns on the net, Beta. No conflict here.Interesting story Bs.Disappointed he didn't get kicked out like you expected?Sorry what? I'm interested in why Beta feels like she has to make a peace offering and say we're all friends. Of course we're all friends, we're fans!Id be disappointed if Bs got kicked out!She was just having a bit of fun with him, nothing more, nothing less. The "peace offering" thing was obviously a joke.Would she have gave the same reaction if they had said HTGTH. Just speculating, but youre right she was probably just joking around. Guest NGOG
Quick and Dirty ReviewOpener: The kids can flat out play. Originality may have been lacking, but they're super young so you can overlook that.GNR: Axl sounded pretty damn good tonight. He seemed to use the rasp more than in other recent shows and he didn't really appear to struggle with it. The band had great chemistry and interacted well with the crowd. Only time I cringed was during "Better".Cool Story, Bro: Had to say "sorry, excuse us" to Tommy Stinson after my girlfriend almost drunkenly plowed into him in the casino while he was bringing take-out back to his hotel room. He just laughed it off. Thanks for giving us an insight, man.

Amir
Honestly, PC sounds the best I've heard in that video since Hellfest 2012, definitely one of the better PCs post-2010. Huge improvement from South America, maybe he'll sound better at this residency than the last one.
Guest NGOG
SOB, yes SOB, said that Axl sounded "great". Mark Strigl of Talking Metal said the same. Edited May 14, 2014 by NGOG

In what aspects can you hear huge improvements? There's rasp intermittently throughout the song, he's not squeaky Mickey Mouse... it's better than any '02 PC, and comparable to some of the weaker pre-'11 PCs. Nothing amazing, but definitely better than anything in recent memory bar Hellfest. Why is The Seeker still in the setlist? It's a fun enough song, but it's been more than 18 months now they've been playing it. According to setlist.fm, they've played it 44 times. Apart from The Who, the only band who've played it more often are Rush (57 times).

Powerage5
A few more points I feel like mentioning:- first time hearing Fortus' new solo and DJ's new solo. Loved Fortus, even better than Blacklight Jesus IMO. Hated La Bella Vita, easily my least favorite DJ solo. - There was a really cool jam in place of a strictly speaking piano solo for Dizzy. Don't know what it was, but all 3 of us loved it. - Speaking of Dizzy, they didn't bring out the piano for Catcher, he played it from his spot on stage. Weird since even at the Ritz he did SOD on the piano. - The venue was pretty cool for GN'R I thought; the stage was a quasi UCAP setup, but the venue wasn't limited to a UCAP size crowd. - DJ handed out a bottle of Jäger for security to give people along the barrier. They went along pouring about a shot in everyone's mouth (as long as they had the 21+ Wristbands). I got the last shot of it, and then there was about another shot's worth in the bottle which the security guard poured over my head. Waste of good Jäger if you ask me We're taking our time heading home, gonna do the Yuengling brewery tour and stop at a couple of wineries near where I went to school. When we get home tonight though, I'll start posting my pics
yourcrazy
The clips I have seen so far sound good. Even rasp at the end of patience. Best I've heard so far this year. Hopeful rock on the range is good. Looking forward to it, only 2 days away now.

I thought some UCAP shows were over 2000.

It's not dramatic, lets not get ridiculous, but whereas Golden Gods was an 8.5/10 on the cringe scale, these vids go for about 5/10 cringe. trqster
Some really great vocals from Axl! It's weird to say the least that out of the blue Axl can pull out a strong voice then fade all the sudden at the next show into mickey mouse cringeworthy vocals once again….go figure! It's also noticeable that Axl has lost a bit of weight, so that might help a bit too. Happy to see Axl performing at a decent level once again.
