Mendez
Besides the fact that DJ murders every song to piecesFor me it was four things:-Matt's inability to do that drum roll like Steven did in the beginning of ISE-Matt's "other" snare(?) drum that he used when playing the Estranged right before the "Old at heart" (and after the "1, 2") part and on NR at the build up before the orgasmic solo. It didn't sound very pleasing to me even though it was probably for the sake of being louder-How none of the drummers 01-present played the intro right of YCBM. Frank almost has it but he purposely plays an unnecessary tom while hitting the snare. It should be snare>hanging tom>floor tom>floor tom>snare and so forth. Frank plays it snare>hanging tom>floor tom>floor tom>snare+floortom so forth.-the simplified 1st solo of YCBM before the first verse from 01-06 (i think 06 did it)Just my pet peeves, do you guys have any? dalsh327
Maybe not the band, but Bob Dylan's had a history of pissing audiences off.
rocknroll41
Axl changing "from the jungle where we play" to "from the jungle where I play" always kinda annoyed me cause it further emphasized the fact that this is no longer a band, but rather his own thing. ZoSoRose
When I saw Eric Clapton he had these backup singers to "I Shot The Sheriff" and had them sing it in this horrible high register that was so distracting. I've been to over 50 gigs or something and that was the most disappointing rendition of a song I like.

Nulla Lex Ink.
I've always disliked backing vocal tracks. Not just from GN'R, but bands in general, especially when they have backing vocalists in place. I just don't see the point.

Gordon Comstock
- KOHD goes on waaaaay too long. Cut it back to the 2002 version please. Or if you insist on the singalong, cut it down to like 8-9 minutes.- Ashba's general attitude on stage. Focus on your playing, stop the hogan ears and begging for applause. Write a GnR song and then maybe you can do that...
Mendez
One more thing that I can think of was when they reintroduced Civil War, Tommy didn't play Duff's parts in the intro. He plays them now but doesn't play them exactly how it is on the album. There's a cool bass line (dont exacty know what to call it) between the "look at your young men dying" and the "way we've always done before". Duff never played exactly how it was on the album (even in the recent SA tour). Also would prefer don't cry in its original form with drums and all throughout the song Frank's playing on Rocket Queen. i hate that too. Takes away from the song Edited May 25, 2014 by Mendez
Carburetta
I can put up with a lot of Ashba's antics but I hate how he drags his hand and fingers up and down the neck of the guitar in between notes, why? I don't know why I hate it so much but it sounds terrible. I've mentioned this before on the forum. Do you know what I mean? Just noticed recently that during Dizzy's piano piece in Estranged there are too many audible instruments, it used to be pretty much just him and now there's loads going on. I liked it when he was under the spot light, he's not in the spot light so much with so much playing going on over the top.

TheSeeker
Axl taking a bow after the first chorus of TIL was cool in 2009-2010 because it received ravenous applause for his amazing vocals. Now he bows for no reason.Stop bowing dude. You didn't do anything amazing.
RandallFlagg
I used to hate how on 14 Years Axl basically nudged Izzy away from the mic for the chorus and you could barely hear Izzy, I know Axl's vox really elevate that track but use another mic so we can hear both of you!

DaneisKing1389
I hate the way DJ bends notes. And plays them.I also hated the way Ron played most of the early solos in 2006/2007. Random noodling everywhere and it wasn't needed. He plays them much better now. Edited May 26, 2014 by DaneisKing1389
