Anguyen92 Posted February 17, 2015 Share Posted February 17, 2015 (edited) It's good to live 30 min. from LA. I'm in a spot where it's not a matter of if they are coming, it's when they are coming. I know they did those three famous small venues shows in LA, but I want them in a nice theater like The Wiltern or Club Nokia and not a casino venue, since casino venues don't really bring that big of an energetic crowd (I know from experience last year when I saw Slash/Myles/Conspirators) that really loves the band. I saw Alter Bridge at the Wiltern, last year, and it was a nice beautiful looking venue that suited the band well and had a good crowd where it was a crowd that I felt like I belonged there. I want that feeling again and I would like it if it's with Slash/Myles/Conspirators since I felt somewhat out of placed with the crowd, even though I know plenty about the act, when I saw them last August. Rush is awesome though.I haven't seen Slash, but I can say with 100% certainty that I'd take a Rush show any day of the week. 3 hours of music from a band who I dislike maybe ten songs out of 19 albums from, or an act that plays half or better their set songs I don't care for at all (That's the Slash songs for me). Usually my area of NY/NJ either gets a New York date and an Atlantic City date (which is a pretty big drive) or we get a NJ date and no NY date. So the fact that he's hitting both is nice and fun after this year long break. AND it'll be warm outside, so I can spend all day waiting, so thats always a plus.I agree with Omar. There's no way this is it, and its probably just a short tour before they come back after the summer. Listen, maybe it was planned this way, but I think we can all agree the touring for this album wasn't organized as well as his past endeavors (although I'm sure the Europeans disagree ). Especially sad since its such a great album that this is truly a tour that warrants seeing multiple legs and shows. However, I think they are doing the best they can with Myles' busy schedule, not too mention Slash also dealing with a divorce and just trying to get around to all the demand around the world. So with the Aerosmith tour last summer, they've once again been on the road almost nonstop since, so I don't know how much more we can ask of them. They'll be back, and I have faith in this band that everyone will get the show or shows they really want. This band has rarely not delivered.And a sincere thanks to Slash2Baz. We can be a rowdy bunch and this lack of US dates for a while I think tested a lot of people's patience. Not these days, not in any day. U smokin' crack boy or not objective enough when talking about Axl. He still gives good performances sometimes, and when he does, it's 10 times better compared to Myles.Anyway, pumped about the tour. I really hope I'll get to attend a show in my country. I like the album and I know the best way to experience it is live. When it comes to Slash it's always like that. Or maybe the one you interacted with was boring but not all of them are like that perhaps.They're endangered, can only see them at zoos or sanctuaries. They sit inone place and look like they're about to fall asleep all the time. There's no such thing as an energetic tuatara.
