Yes, the story about the 73 year old reserve deputy was in the paper here yesterday. It surprised me that a 73 year old was still on duty, but then it appears he wasn't a cop. The video was very shocking. It just seems like a bad joke from a bad comedy about retarded cops: Oops, sorry, I shot him.

It's particularly disturbing that sheriffs can hand out guns to old friends and let them play police with them, because that's how it comes across. An old guy wanting to feel all badass and virile with his gun and reserve deputy badge.

(CNN)Police in Arizona said Tuesday that an officer who intentionally used his car to run into a suspect with a rifle probably saved the man's life.

The man's lawyer strongly disagrees. Video of the incident has stirred debate about what type of force police should have used to detain a man with a gun.

Real time data obtained through facial recog software, combined with data obtained through Stingray systems, added to internet language data, throw in the Net Bios backdoor and audio key phrase data collected through hand held devices and you have a mountain or realtime info.

Maybe even add the RFID tags thrown through the magnetic strips on your credit cards combined with nano dust particulates that geo localize proximity...

Relating to the 73 year old "reserve depute" who shot a suspect with his gun versus his tare, it's now being reported that:

Three supervisors of reserve deputy Robert Bates were transferred after refusing to falsify the 73-year-old’s training records, reports the Tulsa World. Citing multiple anonymous sources, the newspaper says members of the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office were told to give Bates—who has since been charged with manslaughter—credit for courses he didn’t take and additional certifications. Officials have publicly stated that they had trouble finding records of Bates’ certifications, but insisted he had them.

They need to remember virtually every civilian carries a video camera around at all times these days.

Makes you wonder how much of this shit just got brushed aside before.

there was a case the other day where a cop in new mexico shut off his body camera to beat the shit out of a suspect. the police cadet with him went to the cops and video proof has been uncovered and the cop has been arrested.

then you have the case in baltimore, where a person ends up dead after being handcuffed, shackled and placed in the back of a paddy wagon.

You'd think body cameras wouldn't have an on-off switch. With technological advances, you'd think they could make them so that they could be programmed to start recording when a cop starts his shift and turn off when the shift is over and he's signed off for the evening.

Yea the fact that they have the option to do that is fucking horse shit.

Its not really sung about much but Baltimore is some mean manor in America i hear.

Maybe just ask swedish cops to teach them the better ways? Seems US cops can learn a few lessons here:

Im sure NY cops know their own submission holds, in fact their famous for it

Yeah pretty nuts. I live about 35 minutes south of Baltimore, and go there weekly for band rehearsals, shows, meetings, etc.. Sort of surreal, I've been to many of the areas in which the riots were/are occurring.
