I'm a bit embarrassed by my award, I hardly ever post in My World, by sheer coincidence I started one thread the week the awards were launched. I guess most people looked at the first page, recognised a female username.....

anyway I would like to donate my award to MB who is slightly more deserving. :-)

One other thing. I really think Alfie should've been Female Member of the Year. I mean, she got promoted to Media Ambassador and to Mod, she's put a lot of work into this place, so I think she deserved it more, and P4A could've done a year without being Female Member of the Year. No, the problem is that you really didn't deserve shit poster. You only won because people fell for your pandering, and that's not the point of the award. You don't campaign for it, it's meant to happen organically. The point is that it's bestowed on someone who thinks they're actually contributing something constructive to the forum, when in reality they are unintentionally writing horribly shitty posts. No offense taken. I think Alfie has done a stellar job in the relatively short amount of time she's been here. She's a great poster and seems like an all around good person as well. I like her a lot. And I respect the mods and admins, always have (well, most of them, but that was a long time ago), but we all know this forum wouldn't exist without it's members, no matter how awesome the people in charge of running it are. There's no forum if there's no posters. I've personally wasted a decade of my life supporting this place, there are many members who have been here for years, thru the good times and bad, without requiring a promotion and a title change under their name.

The mods always had a separate award, not sure why they didn't do it this year.

Thank you for your kind words. I think the mod award was dropped because it seemed a bit divisive after a lot of staff changes and efforts to build the team up.

As I stated many pages back there is no point trying to analyse from a relatively small amount of data, everyone who won (possibly with the exception of my award. Lol) deserves recognition as they clearly bring something to the forum, as does everyone else who didn't specifically win a category.

I think we might knock it down to about four categories next year though....;-)

OK, i say this every year and i'm saying it again, why does her always win the fuckin' film award? Bollocks bollocks bollocks and bollocks a fourth time, it's fuckin' scandalous, it's cuz she's a bird innit, thats what it is, you gotta spread it out a bit amongst the fe's or it'll look unfair. First of all I'm older than her, i been around longer so it stands to reason I'd've seen more films and also like, COME ONNNNNN, she's a blatant fuckin' carrot-cake run off the top ten list job, i watch fuckin' cool films, she just has a Guardian readers skim over 5 a week, there is absolutely no contest.

I'm having it next year sunshine so start counting backwards from 365, I'll fuckin' show yous. I don't mind the others but i DESERVE the fuckin' film one, so why does her get it every fuckin' time?
