Holy shit, I'm shocked by the comparison of these real live tracks with Live Era. I feel so dumb now! I have always known they have done re-recordings, but I only thought it was small touches here and there just to "repair" some snippets. But I never have guessed they were full songs (at least vocally) and so many of them. LOL!

That being said I have quite an unpopular opinion here though... even with this knowledge I still enjoy these previous versions from Live Era as well. Maybe even more now actually. It's part of the history and it sheds some new light on the "hidden years". And even though it's fake as fuck, it is such a rarity to have Axl's studio recording from '99.

I’d be willing to bet in the coming years we’ll see a small Spaghetti box with something from 93. I say that because up until now, not even UYI was available in hi-res on digital platforms.  Spaghetti and Chinese still remain only CD quality across platforms.

Now I can be sure that Live Era is the band's worst album. Axl took the trouble to kill his voice over the years and being in the studio from 1999-1999, just to re-record an album is a disgrace. I still hope they release Milton Keynes video shows from 1993 and the Show in Germany filmed for the Estranged video.

Nightain from the Vegas show is fucking awesome.

14 Years from the London show is a bit of a mess but still great to have, warts and all.

Wish they'd included the Paris '92 performance of Civil War, neither of the live performances here are really doing it for me, but it's cool to have the '91 one where there's no playback and Axl recites "What we've got here is... failure to communicate" himself.
