I'm going have to buy the cd deluxe set and the blu ray. They got my money.

50GB blu-ray disc.

What does this mean? Is that saying there's a lot of content on the blu ray? But no new songs or bonus tracks.

No. It means that picture and audio quality are a priority in this release.
Ok, thanks.

Might get 3D version.

I think the HD and 3D version is the same disk right?

I think so. I want the cd and the Blu ray so I guess they got me.

In fact do Blu rays play as cds. Not really, but my stereo might play they audio..

I think I understand what you're asking. If so, the answer is no unless you just turned you TV off and left the blu-ray playing.

I'm guessing the BD will be around $15-$20 and the DVD/CD set will be closer to $15, so I'm fine with picking up both.

Errr... am I mistaken or was there NO ChinDem material in the trailer?

Don't worry. All Cd songs played will be in the release.

I'm sure of that. But I find it a seriously weak gesture to exclude this a) important and b) most recent era of GNR in the song selection.

I think I will hold on before buying: you just know that within one month of release you will be able to pick this up for £1.99 second hand or from a bargain basket!

Except it is neither that 'important', nor 'recent'! Chinese Democracy flopped like a pair of saggy breasts and is nearly six years old. The 'most recent' era of GN'R has been, this current 'cheesy greatest hits' era. It seems perfectally fitting that they would focus on nostalgia for their promotion.

But you do not get the packaging. Some bootleg companies used to shell a lot out on their artwork.

You can download them from the tracker as well and print them off youself. I used to buy them until I learned how to download. I just have them back up on hard drive now as discs were skipping over the years.

Is Shacklers Revenge on the setlist?

Shacklers hasn't been played since mid 2012 - sometime in Europe I think. And even than, it was only played a handful of times in 2012. 2011 was the last time it was a regular.

24 times on the European 2012 tour, I got it at both London shows and Serbia, Glasgow was the only show out of 5 in 2012 I didn't see them perform it (they played it at Atlantic City as well).

I know it was played at one of the residency shows, not sure which one though. But it has been played sparingly the last 2 years
