The 2002 tour had about 3-4 CD songs received by a crowd who were curious about a new album that was probably never going to come out - the 2014 tour has about 3-4 CD songs received by a crowd who are vaguely familiar with the album which probably comes up in their iTunes playlist randomly once a year and they probably forgot they even bought. Yes, I'm happy I heard catcher and don't cry live for the first time but man... they are trying HARD not to give us something new or different. Seems like the big surprise consisted in new solo spots all around: new 4tus solo, new Dizzy solo, new Ashba solo and Abnormal as BBF's solo and the lack of RQ.As for how Axl sounded, I'd say like the austraiian tour videos I watched. Some rasp in This I Love, Better and the NR outro but mostly Mickey. Don't get me wrong, I love Guns N' Roses and I enjoyed the show very much so, but you know...
