We really wanted a final against Brasil. But there's one more epic failure for Brasil yet. Betraying his history and cheering for Germany.

Germany has one more day to recover, and they only played 30 minutes the other day. They are the best team in the WC so far.

After such slap-in-the-face Brazil should remain neutral, at the least. And pretty much in silence too.

I don't deny anything about Germany. I've said more than once they are the greatest team and if they win, it is very well deserved. However, final didn't happen yet. You don't know what Argentina could pull in order to win. They didn't chicken out before Holland (in spite of everybody predicting they would lose) and will not melt before Germany either. They are professional players, know very well who their opponent is.

If there's something this WC have taught us all is to never underestimate a rival, never confuse what the country is in general for what a sport team is and to be humble. Never never chant victory before time. Argentina passed every stage being humble and growing as a team each time. Maybe that's their difference with Germany. Germans set foot on BRA soil as the strongest team and have remained like that til the end. That confidence is good. But I see Argentina growing their confidence as well.

The jokes and everything else you mention it's part of the folklore of this well-known rivalry, something any soccer fan knows and should be used to. You are a hypocrite if you say it wouldn't be the other way around had Messi got injured. Didn't Brazil make a toast when Maradona was kicked out of the 1994's WC? But don't confuse media with the actual team. Argentina's Team didn't mock Neymar at all. Messi tweeted well wishes to Neymar's recovery and overall have been pretty respectful of Brazil and all teams. If you say otherwise, you're just bullshitting.

Yeah, I understand. But please, check this time, not only Argentina is making fun. The whole world is. And brazilian press are more harsh than anyone else.

Aside from that, yes, I agree that if they win the jokes will be eternal... but hey, WC is every 4 years, you never know history's turn next time.
