Towelie
Bruce Springsteen - never heard anything which remotely captured my interest. Probably doesn't help that my first impression of him was his terrible vocals on We Are The World where he sounds like he's squeezing out a shit. Elvis - I kind of get why people like him, and there's a handful of songs I enjoy, but that's it for me. Iron MikeyJ
U2 (completly overrated band imo)Iron Maiden (couple of songs I like, but everything sounds the same)Avenged Sevenfold (lets get Axl and Slash imitators, throw in some Metallica, and the youth will love it. Nothing original about this band)Pretty much all punk rock except for The Sex Pistols and The RamonesBad Religion (boring)The Misfits (blah)Black Flag (double blah)That's it for now. I'm into pretty much everything, so even though I don't LOVE Bruce Springsteen and other bands mentioned in this thread, I still respect them. But the ones I mentioned here literally do NOTHING for me. They could be erased from history for all I care. Oh ya, plus every band mentioned in the "Hipster Sanctuary Thread" could easily cease to exist IMO also. Kill 'Em All is a masterpiece, Ride The Lightning is great, and Mast Of Puppets and ...And Justice For All are good. Metallica are a thrash band - The Black Album ain't thrash. It's commercial, radio-friendly shit.

Nulla Lex Ink.
Nirvana - I won't lie, I like a couple of their tunes, but overall I'm not a big fan of their catalog. I might like them better if the fan base wasn't a bunch of whiny people going on about how Kurt Go Bang was such a revolutionary songwriter. That was basically the opinion of everybody in my high school. My art teacher even said he was the voice of a generation, once. Also, they were vehement fanboys/girls, so you couldn't say a damn thing bad about the band, unless you wanted to hear bands you listened to and a lot you didn't get bashed for weeks on end. I think some day I may like the band, but as long as I have the mental association of a bunch of whiny, blind cry babies from my high school, I won't be able to enjoy it.The Beatles - Again, I admit I like some of their songs. But you know something? I enjoy it when other people play them more. The Beatles were an okay songwriting group, but those guys did way better things apart than they ever could have together. Again, maybe some day I can enjoy them when the mental association with my stupid school is gone, but these guys have rabid fanboys everywhere, apparently.Avenged Sevenfold - As was said before, nothing but a dishonored bastard child of GN'R and Metallica.Aerosmith - I like some of their songs, but they have a lot of filler in their back catalog. Maybe I'd understand the appeal better if I had grown up with their songs, but eh, as a whole they just aren't for me as I am now.Hole - Just plain awful, it barely qualifies as music to me... Wait, you said "legendary," not "our singer was married to someone famous once." My mistake.Kiss - Again, some songs are liked, but I don't understand how they got to be so big. You'd think weird antics could only get you so far, but I suppose not. Eric Carr is an under appreciated drummer though.Motley Crue - Some songs are good, but the damndest thing is, I like their self titled album better than everything else. I guess I just don't like Vince Niel's vocals that well. The Cure - There's a lot I could prolly say about Robert "Tim Burton's wet dream" Smith, but he is an okay musician at the end of the day. First record (I think) was okay, but everything else they've done has been pretty boring. Not even necessarily bad, just... Boring.David Bowie - I just don't like some of the eras of his career. Others I like, but there are quite a few I'm not a fan of.Joe Satriani - He's a great guitar player, but I really don't get this whole "he's the best since Hendrix!" business. Maybe I'm just not hearing the right stuff, I dunno. I'm not really willing to keep looking though, his styles don't do a whole lot for me.I think that's all for now. Might be more I could say later on, but I have a feeling I'll be shot by rabid fanatics tonight, so... Yeah. If I'm not dead I'll be back, haha.
