Popular Post RONIN
Not your favorite performance, but one where the band sounds perfect -- for my money, this is it. From vocals to guitar, the band is flawless. Axl's vocals are in prime form.
Ktex
I've been saying that for years. Especially Crazy.
Ace Nova
Definitely up there. Studio version perfect.
Gordon Comstock
The Late Show songs are awesome, no doubt. Probably the best UTLH bootleg out there. Technically, probably this: But, when I think 'best GNR performances', this is one of the top songs: Edited July 12, 2016 by Gordon Comstock
RexRoyal
That version of You're Crazy is brilliant. It makes you wonder what sorts of gems we'd have on video if they had decided to perform on MTV Unplugged around their prime.
Silverburst80
I always loved this one. Bonus points for Slash stomping on someone's head at 3:00 and Axl rubbing a pink toy teddy bear on his scrotum soon after. I enjoy the chaotic feel of this performance in general. Nintari
It's the best I've ever heard audibly, yeah. But as far as performance, idk. There are so many chaotic shows to choose from that it's practically impossible to choose just one.

His voice is just gargling and totally cracked.

Original
Matt (and a lot of people I guess) always point to the Freddie Mercury Concert as Axl's greatest moment. Band-wise overall- not sure...so many great moments, including 2016.
Gordon Comstock
I'm on my phone so can't add the youtube video, but You're Crazy from the Felt Forum 1988 show (where they start with the Lies version and morph it into the AFD version) is probably my favorite version, even better than the Late Show performance.

nonok
Sound-wise, it's the most perfect the band has ever sounded. Performance-wise, yes, Perfect Crime from Indiana '91 is what GNFNR is. That's not even subjective, it's facts, people. The rest is all opinions that may or may not be right.
