I don't think this is the reason. Slash and Duff have sued Axl personally (and not the whole band like Adler) and more recently, and Izzy wasn't involved in any lawsuit. Imo it's that 1) they still don't trust Steven given his history and they're testing him and 2) Axl feels protective to Frank. As for the reason Steven played only one song in the Argentinian shows, I'm now inclined to think it has to do with the business deal with the promoters. Probably Adler is paid per song, the deal was for two songs and the band opted for him to play one song at each show instead of two at one show. Honestly after 2014 I barely visited or posted here anymore and 2015 up until the reunion rumors was just such a depressing time in terms of GNR. Nothing was happening, Axl had a bad streak vocally and seemed to have lost his motivation, DJ Ashba was still there, the same old interviews of the band members saying the same things about a new album, etc. I was pretty much ready to give up on GNR altogether as a band to follow But then this reunion came and man was that a godsend! Axl may have a off night every now and then like tonight but man that is ok because 2016 as a whole has been so fucking great for GNR!
