Haha, depending on the the "twists of faith" (thank you, "Better") life has in store for me, I could be living in Miami for a couple of months due to professional choices, from January 2018 & on, so let's indeed hope they make a comeback around that time. I have never attended a concert in the US.

Try educating yourself on what Mickey sounds like and what/when Axl literally sounded like Mickey. I thought everyone understood what I ment but apperently we have a specialist on Mickey voices here ? I just wanted to say that Axl sounded great live but perhaps it was because of the booze ?
AnDy
During the concert Axl said something about that he lost his soul and it took a while but he found it again. Anyone heard what he said? I think it was right before Slash solo.
IndiannaRose
When I saw Axl perform with AC/DC just a few months ago, his voice echoed the sounds of a chainsaw meeting a hammer. It was phenomenal and most definitely sounded closer to 1993 or 2010 than anything we have heard on this leg of the tour. My point being -- Axl is fully well and capable of singing "raspy", but is choosing not to do so for the time being. It is no surprise that his voice is getting cleaner as we are now aware that he is receiving help from a vocal coach (Ron). That type of singing (raspy) is not meant to be sustained in the long haul as it's quite abrasive for the vocal chords. By my estimation, Axl will return to a slightly raspier style of singing in subsequent months. For example, in 2006 Axl came out at full-force in Hammerstein, mixed in some "Mickey" during the European and early North American shows, and ultimately ended the year with excellent, sword-like vocals by the Gibson Amphitheater shows. I think he'll take a similar trajectory on the NITL Tour. Edited June 28, 2017 by IndiannaRose

Not sure how the end was gonna turn out... F & F still screw up the vibe of the intro.. They will just never get it right... The Fortus solo still sucks and is out of place and never mind that stupid fucking thing he always does after Slash's solo.. Which ripped by the way.. One of the better Slash solos in this song I have seen this tour.. Doesn't touch what he was doing with his solo band though.. Some of those solos were mind blowing.. That whole band just got the song.. I wish I could hear Axl on top of on of those performances.. Even a weaker Axl sounds better than Myles on that one.. Plus he gets bonus points for being Axl.. NITL RQ is just too fucking long lol.

They just don't play it good enough to be as long as it is... Not to keep bringing up Slash's last band but they would stretch it from 15 to 30 minutes sometimes and it was awesome!!

No....I had to watch a fb stream of the show and kept having to rewind it to make sure I heard right. But he said it literally right after he sang TIL. But that falsetto is absolutely terrible. I have tickets for Miami. I'm thinking about selling them. I agree at the lower voice part. She sounds good on tracks like Don't Cry. But when he starts using his higher voice, Mickey is talking over his soul. You must have missed the School Benefit and Rock in Rio 2011 f.ex. nonetheless. But let's face it. His post 93 voice is simply different and I don't like it. It's only acceptable with all 86-93 members and AC/DC. Still prefer Brian and Scott in AC/DC. Zurimor
So much to Axl's voice back in the 90s. He was sometimes just terrible then, too. It are the memories which make him sound better.
shotsfired cro
I waited for 24 years for a reunion and now don't have 1% desire to spend my money on this shitty line up. First - 20 year old green haired chick playing 2 nd keyboard in a band that started out w/o having one! Second - Rhythm guitar player who looks like he was forgoten on stage by some aler rock opening band, aware he has no personality on charisma so he keeps his chest unbottoned since 2008...The guy looks like a complete fraud. Plays like any average guitar player in any small town on ths planet. There are street musicians that play better than him. For real, I was never a too big Izzy fan, but if we can't have Izzy - this guy can't ask Gilby for even an autograph. Izzy and Gilby are light years away from this guy in every aspect. Don't know how much he gets paid but every dime is a dime to much. Third - What the fuck is the issue with Frank!? Does he remind Ax of Earl? Is Ax deaf? mean they used to record the fuckin shows, does he ever listen to them? You dn't trust Adler fine, me either, so get fuckin Matt fuckin Sorum.

Richard, Buckethead and Bumble are technically the best guitarists this band ever had. I doubt that Slash could play Richards James Bond cover or Buckethead songs like “Forbidden Fold“ or “Eagles Nest“ in a proper way. There obviously isn't a need for Fortus or his parts in this band, instead, get someone who could play those parts right. Gilby and Izzy had prooven themselves in a much shorter time span. Ppl have discussed it few pages back. Honestly, I don't ike his playing, don't like his guitar sound, don't like his stage presence and overall I find him irritating. Izzy was a founding member who worked well until he got sober. He obviously felt uncomfortable after that. His contribution to AFD and UYI's was immense. Ppl view Guns till '93, not as CD cover Guns band. Unless Izzy returns - there will be no AFD or UYI strength material. Gilby worked well with the entire band. His stage presence was complementing to Guns music and look wise. His playing was everything a second guitar needs to be next to Slash. His playing was fine, his guitar sound was fine and '91-'94 was best era in Guns history.

Browse forums and you will see majority don't like him, if you like him that is ok. Why do you think your opinion matters and my/ours doesn't? Why do you think band likes him, just cause they play with him? Are you in the band? Sure someone in the band likes him, maybe Ax? Off the record...There have been multiple insider reports of Slash and Duff not agreeing with you on this subject. I heard the same by a person who opened up for them recently some shows so, amen to that.
