Eric Cantona
I feel like Axl singing Only Women Bleed is a subtle apology to Erin and other women he potentially may have mistreated mentally or physically, since it's a song about domestic abuse.

I can guarantee you that at least Duff and Slash want the tempos as they are being played. There is a 0% chance that Frank is just deciding on his own what tempo to play at. I think based on how Slash plays the song he'd prefer if Axl sang the old version.

He wouldnt let "his" band play it in a tempo that didnt feel good to him. I am pretty sure Axl is just as much responsible for this nonsense as anyone

General discussions/debates over Axl's vocals should be held elswhere. Maybe you could open a whole subforum for those discussions. Seems to be the most popular topic here. P.S anyone who attended the Prague show - I'm super jealous that you got Used to love her - it's my absolute favorite sing-along song from Guns n' Roses.

Yup. All post 93 versions are horribly lame. It's even more painful when you compare with their prime Even Gilby plays it with the right vibe. Popular Post Natty
Hy everyone, so I am back from Prague and as @ErikA said: we made a comparison between Munich and Prague: Munich was like Basic programm, Prague was killer! It was an awesome, fantastic Show with so many heartwarming moments, Oh my god, it was unbelievable. Why was it so magic: 1) Munich crowd was lame, Prague crowd rocked; as the crowd rocked, the band was in a good mood and 2) played more Songs than munich and new Songs in this leg like "I used to love her" which was so epic, setlist changed a bit, Duff sang Attitude, so setlist wise really good! 3) in Munich I didn t see the chemistry between the single members, yesterday they were all smiling at each other - the whole Show. Axl was always smiling, joking, Duff and Richard as well, Slash also. This is best News ever: they like each other!!! I didnt notice that in munich, so we were so pleased and happy to see the guys interacting and smiling so much! 4) munich was 2.45 Show, Prague 3:10, so it lasted longer and had new songs It was magical, really so positive everything, we were again front row Duff side and smiled and sang all the way through the evening. To the People that continue the stupid Mickey comments: if you have attended the Show and dont like it: please dont say it's Mickey, because ITS not Mickey, it's just clean strong voice instead of 80's -90's Axl. It is not Mickey! Axl nailed it yesterday! He had a superb clean voice and some rasp also, no Mickey at all. I have recorded some Songs, but I wont post them, because my stupid Smartphone just isnt able to replicate it: even the instruments don 't Sound good on the damn Smartphone. So it has no sense posting the Videos. I ll try to post some photos later. The Show yesterday was FANTASTIC

Dean
Has Used to Love Her still not surfaced? I recorded the first two minutes, thought I'd treat myself and go nuts for the last verse and put the phone down.
Popular Post jamillos
What a fucking show! Haven’t really slept yet, but I’ll just post a few details worth noticing that I remember as of now. - Not only did they start on time, they were a few minutes early, it wasn’t even 19.15. - The crowd went nuts as soon as ISE started. (Well duh.) Overall very cheering and chanting along, even Axl commented on that somewhere during the show. - Axl was in a nice shape. He didn’t talk that much, but when he did, he was joking around all the time. He said there were a lot of us motherfuckers, asked how we were etc. Before the second part of NR started, a roadie brought him a bottled beer, he drunk it, went "aaaah" and then continued; at the end he said this was no product placement and that actually he drinks this beer back home, and they call it "Czechweiser" or something along those words. - When introducing one of the songs, Axl said it was a nice song about interrelationships etc., turned to Slash, who apparently wasn’t paying attention, and Axl jokingly said "one’s introducing a nice song about relationships, and Slash goes 'Huh!?'". - There was some little issue in the front centre, but nothing serious, and Axl dealt with it with a smile. - Maybe the fact there were so many people and that the feedback was overall good had something to do with this show being reportedly the longest one of the EU tour so far. The encore itself had 5–6 songs, and as was already said, we got Used to Love Her, My Michelle, Yesterdays... they all were there. Even though my back was killing me, I still enjoyed that. The crowd was awesome, and it was great to see people of all generations. I took a couple of pictures, but have already seen better ones on the net, so I won’t post ‘em. - You could see GN’R t-shirts all over the Prague subway, as there was a certain closure/detour there, rendering some underground areas as well as buses etc. overcrowded. People almost thrashed my wristwatch as I was trying to get into one of the tubes! But everything was all right. For me, the fact itself that I could see so many fellow fans in one place and all around was awesome. - Axl’s voice was pretty steady. Yes, he uses the rasp advisedly, sparingly, and doesn’t put it in those middle positions so much any more, but there are many occasions where he goes full rasp – and that’s a gooseflesh material, my friends. Seeing a show like that also makes one realize how petty and stupid and absurd those bickerings here about Axl’s voice are. Ridiculous. Not to mention that various threads are repeatedly, pointlessly hijacked with this shit. - The band is tight, and I was also surprised to hear some songs actually in a slightly slower tempo, unlike e.g. Nightrain, which is faster as compared with the 90s. But Slash, Slash is a real beast. The sheer amount of notes he plays in those solos of his... If someone tells you they sometimes could hear a mistake, tell them to fuck off, because the style Slash plays and the fact he rarely looks at his fingers... there’s no way he isn’t improvising to a certain degree (that’s obvious). Yes, Slash steals the show. - Overall, it was just awesome. All I needed was just a little patience (25 years) to see the Holy Trinity together. And it was fucking worth the wait. Hope to see them again someday soon. Maybe in some two years, touring a new record? Sorry for my Eng. and style, haven’t slept etc. Edited July 5, 2017 by jamillos

It is just so senseless and out of place, cause there it just sounds completely different and people are fighting tooth and nail over yt fucking videos, a virtual reality. Thanks for a reat review. Always great to read something on topic in the show thread. Am envious about your setlist
