DieselDaisy
The statistics should be really taken with a pinch of salt for the following reason - indeed, I no longer look at them. https://uk.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus-italy-mortality/italys-coronavirus-death-toll-far-higher-than-reported-stats-office-idUKKBN22G1WM https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/may/04/german-covid-19-cases-may-be-10-times-higher-than-official-figures

Italia '90? 3rd place match, not on pens though: Italy 2-1 England. But if you mean Italy by pens, I think there was some Rooney era defeat (I am not sure! England's penalty defeats all rather fudge into one and another after 1998).

I looked down and saw that huge gun they carried. It was pretty scary to me. Also saw the brinks guy bringing money into a bank and he carried his gun at his side. The guns I have seen in person scared me. Even living in Texas I have no desire to get a gun and learn to shoot one.
downzy
Good article on why how and why the response and fallout between Canada and the US have been dramatically different: https://www.vox.com/2020/5/4/21242750/coronavirus-covid-19-united-states-canada-trump-trudeau
dontdamnmeuyi2015
I saw a doctor on CNN this morning talking about how the US has to be civil to all countries incase they find a cure/vaccine before we do. He said the UK has a good change of making a vaccine before anyone else. He then said suppose they don't give us any? I was like great another fucking thing to worry about. Damn I have to stop watching CNN! Fuck! Stay well people! Oh, and the cruises will begin sailing on August 1 leaving from Florida, Cali and Texas. Talk about a floating death trap. Will they allow people who already had the virus when they took a cruise before? And how can you tell? The woman in Dallas who opened her hair salon had to appear in court today. Didn't hear what happened yet? She refused to close or pay the $1000 fine. The new shows her taking her hair cutter's temp as well as the customer. I guess that would work, but I'm glad whenever my hair salon opens it's just me and her cutting and dying my hair. At least I hope she can get the supplies since those stores were closed as well. God, I need a hair cut so badly and a dye too. lol

So you can’t really challenge the article by agreeing with the article.

So when you say there’s so much wrong with the article I’m having a hard time taking anything you say seriously.

Retool industry to meet the needs of the climate crisis!!!!! All retooling in a short period of time is not equal. It’s one thing for companies to make masks in a short turn around, it’s another to start making more complicated products like ventilators. True, various green retooling would also take various lengths of time. Some could be super quick just like this. Think of all that could be done by know if people didn’t give cover to industry and politicians!
