Same could perhaps be said for Duff and his work outside GN'R – both have released more material outside the band than in it since they came back. My point being, Slash is always going to do both, and more. Neither really take away from eachother like people seem to think. There is no 'GN'R v SMKC' or 'GN'R or SMKC'. I thought he was recording it in 2024. Honestly, I do think slowing down and spending more time on writing would really benefit his work outside Guns. Based on his blues noodling with Govt Mule, I'm a bit worried for this blues album.
