According to this thread, Ron said in the live stream that Goin' Down is an "old, old blues tune." It is a Robert Johnson song, and has been played by many a rocker. However tired the following statement and knowing it will be made only to fall upon deaf ears of those for whom it is intended, I'd much prefer new material to old blues rock covers.
