Young_Gun
Always loved this song. However this could just be a remaster or even completely recreated backing instrumental(guitar, bass, drums etc) with remastered Axl vocals on top. Not sure. Voodoochild
Sounds messy with all those other songs sampled there.Always loved this song. However this could just be a remaster or even completely recreated backing instrumental(guitar, bass, drums etc) with remastered Axl vocals on top. YOUCOULDBEMINE.
It's remastered, it's the same guy from the shitty Velvet Revolver & Axl Rose mashups. The reason why it sounds different is because there are other people playing over it.Also, Slash? He didn't play on this song. Edited March 24, 2012 by UcudBmineCD
KiraMPD
Also, Slash? He didn't play on this song.No he did not...This is just a (bad) mash up of Crash Diet from the Rumbo Tapes. The original... Axl gave the song(lyrics) to Asphalt Ballet Really awesome song though so if current GnR do a version of it I'd be super happy!R.I.P West Arkeen Edited March 24, 2012 by KiraMPD
Dazey
I think it's just a fan mix but it sounds better than most of the shit we've heard of that ilk.
GNR123GNR456
'In 2012, Guns N 'Roses will release a remix album, and Axl Rose has begun licensing songs for the next album.'

31illusions
Enticing. I like to hear the whole thing. Although some of his mash-ups aren't that great but some are ok.Here's some more of his work... Edited March 24, 2012 by 31illusion
nonlinear
that song sucks and I don't understand why people like it. there is a reason it was never developed and released by the band.
James Bond
that song sucks and I don't understand why people like it. there is a reason it was never developed and released by the band. That's your opinion. Keep in mind it's a demo, so it's impossible to say what the finished/developed version would have sounded like. The demos for some of the Appetite songs went through many changes. Paradise City didn't really have an intro, Welcome to the Jungle didn't have the first guitar solo, instead using the "When you're high..." part twice, and so on. I can feel a good vibe to Crash Diet. There's a working song in there somewhere, so it might have kicked our asses if they developed it into something else. Desperado
hasn't Axl said that it never was an GNR song and that it just was a song West made.
F*ck Fear
I think Crash Diet is a pretty cool tune, but my favorite of the demos would be Ain't Goin Down.
