I certainly prefer the original, but this is what I always thought the point of a remix album might be ... throw out some different looks on some of these songs. DJ did a good job here, it's atmospheric and different enough from the original to be worthy of a listen. Doesn't seem to be mixed very well, but definitely an enjoyable track. I think had Axl rerecorded vocals to suit this instead of just slowing down the tempo of the vocal layer it could have legs, especially if the gothic sound was toned down abit.I don't mind certain Sixx AM tracks but couldn't listen to a whole album of them - I hope he doesn't have too much influence on any future recordings because this ain't the Guns sound.
