Due to overwhelming demand? Where from exactly?

The fans that are going to sell out these shows?

You honestly think these will be sell out shows? They've already opened up the presale to anyone that visits their page.

It's highly unlikely Gn'R sells all 36,000 tickets or whatever the exact number is. The shows will be full though as casinos give a lot of these tickets away to big spending gamblers. The Hard Rock makes money from people gambling and staying in their hotel, not by selling $50 Gn'R tickets. Giving them away means there will be a good mix of die-hard fans and casual ones who were given the tickets for free.

I can see why someone who is flying in would wanna buy these tickets in advance as opposed to getting them for half price on the day of the show from Craigslist.

Tbf, the early entry tickets have a chance of selling out, I think those are the ones the die-hards who are flying in will want as well.

$95 is pretty decent for early entry included, that's the only thing I'd ever want from a "VIP package", never been tempted by the lithos and meet and greets etc. from the $200+ tickets from the last tour.

$95? I thought the early entry VIPs were $125?

Got an email from the Joint.

It has the dates and times of the GNR shows.

I don't know how they figured out the times, but maybe Axl is making a change in coming onstage earlier.

That's when the opening band will go on. If it says 9 PM, plan on at least 10:30-11 before GN'R comes on. But still, earlier than a few years ago.

So what time do the early entry people arrive for? Do they get a barrier spot if they want to skip the opener?

Nope, and that's the downside to the rail. Having to suffer for a long time, but then the GNR concert completely makes it worth it every time. Even though it is worth it, and it is, you still hope and pray for a decent opening band/s.

Yeah but I need piss breaks and I doubt my lady wants to stand for 5 hours. I might go for reserved seating or maybe even that 301 section that Russ recommended.

Most likely the middle weekend and probably only 1 show - will try for a 2nd but the gf might want to see something else instead if the same (or likely very similar) setlist twice.

Looks like the 7th is the day to go though!

Gotcha - too bad we're not going the same weekend!

Great! I already have tits. I just need to start bashing Slash. I will get right on that! Thanks!

You are halfway there. It can't hurt to say that Dj Ashba is more important to the Gn'R legacy than Slash as well.

Seriously though I wish you good luck in your quest. Axl himself gave clues in his chats a few years ago. I think I may have even been the one who asked him what's the best way for a fan (without boobs) to meet him. Of course back then he also said it was lame for bands to charge fans to meet them. Now he does charge but you won't meet Axl. You can get face time with Frank Ferrer though.
