A poster on GN'R Evo that is tied in to the concert side of the music industry said that the contract is between Coachella, Axl, Slash, and Duff. Everyone else is a hired hand (not just musicians but the usual hangers-on, roadies, etc). Coachella is supposedly gonna pay them $8m. I would guess Axl gets slightly more due to the leverage he had with the name but Slash and Duff probably still get over $2m each once you account for the fact the three of them have to pay everyone else involved. That's pretty damn great for only two shows.If this is true, it confirms that Slash & Duff are not joining nugnr. It's Axl, Slash & Duff + a bunch of hired hands, similar to the UYI tour situation.I wonder who hires all the crew and other 'band' members. I would make a lot more sense the other way around: hire nuGNR with their crew and musicians (including Axl), plus pay a very large fee to Duff and Slash to fill in for the Tommy & DJ Ashba. And obviously pay NuGnR / Axl well to organize / 'allow' all this.GNR partnership, hiring nuGNR.I think that is what we have here. The Big 3 partnership that existed after Izzy left and the Big 3 hire whoever they want to hire. It's interesting that this new slot machine is only going to feature images of Axl, Slash, and Duff. Between that and the Coachella contract, it sure does seem to suggest that Axl, Slash, and Duff have reformed the original partnership. Unless you think that no band is a band until it has been legally registered Only when we are talking about the legal entity can Slash be a founding member, but we are talking about the band which existed prior to the legal registration. But oh my gawd how boring it is to discuss such trivial technicalities!And who cares? Axl has decided to shake things up a bit this time around by getting Slash and Duff back into the band. If you like these guys then just be happy - this is what you wanted. Personally I look forward to a new chapter, great music, and the inevitable drama that is to unfold in all its GN'R splendour.
