sidman69
Hey everybody I've followed up my video on the making of the spaghetti incident looking back at the Live Era album. Enjoy! What's your favourite song off the live album?

StrangerInThisTown
Youre Crazy. Better than either version from AFD or Lies. Just killer live energy and great vocals by Axl
Ric Nightingale
Live Era gets played more than any other GNR album. I don't know why but I'm always compelled to reach for that one. The version of Estranged on this tops the studio version in every way. Superb!!

AxlRoseCDII
I think it's a great live album, really damn underrated. The missing rythym guitar on RQ bothers me but besides that it's great, Axl's '99 voice kicked ass- wish he used it on the 2001/2002 shows. EvH
My personal favorite is probably Rocket Queen, despite the missing rythm guitar.
Słash
You're Crazy and Estranged Rocket Queen to some extent also but I prefer the Tokyo version. The re recording of Axl's vocals on Mr. Brownstone sounds pretty obvious.

Gold top 78
Nightrain with the McBob intro is my favourite I also like UTLH and Pretty Tied Up
rockphantom
Live Era was one of the worst live albums in history! The fact that Axl re-recorded most of his vocals SIX YEARS after his last actual live performance, was sickening to this die-hard GNR fan. FAKE Era should be the proper title! Absolute garbage! Personally, the unedited soundboard recording of the Los Angeles Forum August 3, 1991 concert would have made for a much better LIVE release!
Crazyman
Former guitarist Slash notes that the album is "not pretty and there are a lot of mistakes, but this is Guns N' Roses, not the fucking Mahavishnu Orchestra. It's as honest as it gets." Except that, you know, both Slash and Axl re-recorded a lot of the "live" album
duff_rose
The way Axl sings "Ready to crash and burn" in Nightrain gives me chills every time. I've never heard him sing it that way live.

The worst is Move To The City (I hate this fuckin song) and Dust N Bones (where's Izzy?)

johnnybebad
"Actually" actually adds nothing to a sentence. Actually. Lots of good info, but lay off the "actually"

NicDwolfwood
Its a hit and miss live album. The fact alot of the vocals were re-recorded and its obvious is a drawback. but there are good versions of songs on there. Crazy, Estranged, Dust N Bones, KOHD, and RQ are some of my personal favorites.
