Live Like a Suicide
Atlas Shrugged has leaked in full. While many are talking about it in the CD leaks discussion thread, this one will provide an opportunity to focus on conversations separate from any new developments which may otherwise bury discussion there. 3
Guest
well I cant wait to hear it!
Popular Post NeonKinight
Waited 6 years for it, and it fuckin' worthed. It remembers, just a little, the power chord part of November Rain, and yes, it feels like a progressive rock sister to Catcher In The Rye.
Bansidhe
Some great ideas and sounds in there but the editing is a mess. Definitely sounds like someone dicked around with the song before leaking.
Lipfel
But it's a different version to the cellphone-clip, isn't it? At 1:25 there is a guitar missing which was in the 1 min 15 clip. On the other side - great great song!
Popular Post Towelie
Never heard the previous clips as I was waiting for the full leak. I liked it. But definitely not as good as Catcher In The Rye or November Rain (not sure why the comparisons to this, it sounds NOTHING like it). Not even in the same league. Hard School was much better. Popular Post NeonKinight
It clearly, has some work to do, specially regarding the mix, but it sounds awesome as it is. I'm glad Buckethead is not playing on this track, as much as like him as guitar player, I don't think he'd lay a soulful solo like this song requires. Slash will kick ass in it, 100% sure. Oh god, Somethings are so impossible that they happen.
LukeFC
I don't think we'll see Slash play on this one. Edit: It's a grower. Edited September 5, 2019 by LukeFC
Kranich
Drumming and that synth (?) Motives are so cool

Dean
That intro, along with the first verse, is as good as anything I’ve heard from Guns. Edited September 5, 2019 by Dean

It's also missing the synth from the cellphone clip (right at the end of the clip, after "what it takes to be a man", that synth isn't in this version). Live Like a Suicide
I think this is one song Axl could nail live. Honestly not sure if it is single material though. 1
Kranich
It reminds me of Yesterdays for some reason
Guest
On 2nd listen, growing on me. Brians guitar tone distinctive as always. this sounds different enough from the cell clip to make me think there are at least 2 versions of this out there somewhere. These two months will be remembered for a long time.
GNR 1991
That fuzzy Brian May solo gave me chills. Great, poppy track. CD needed more songs like this imo.

Could very well be synth aswell, hard to say

Popular Post NeonKinight
The color this song brings to me is a beautiful, pacific, oceanlike Marine blue, dont know why. megaguns1982
The first minute or so sounds like it's building to something epic but then falls flat. Cool drums at the start though.
Chris.h11
I'm not hearing these Brian May contributions peple are talking about, to my ears, the solo is clearly BBF as there are fretless parts. The Brian May sounding lead from the cell phone leak seems to be missing on this version xD
