gavgnr
Try this on for size… What if the band decided to release Chinese Democracy as a 2 disc record, with the first album being the record from 2008 but with Slash and Duff replacing Bumble and Bucket, and the second album being the unreleased songs? SoulMonster
Yes, I would like new music from GN'R.
Rovim
tricky, but I'm leaning towards this is kind of a pointless thread no offense. Anything new getting released is better than nothing, most fans won't say no to new material just because Slash is on there instead of Bucket or whatever.
Popular Post Dean
It’s a no from me regarding Slash and Duff working on already released songs. There is no need, Chinese would only suffer as a result. Let them fill their boots on the rest of the sessions that didn’t see the light of day though. I’d love a double album of the very best of the Chinese sessions and new recordings from them, but it’ll sadly never happen. 5
janrichmond
Nah, not for me. The CD fans don't want Slash and Duff redoing stuff previously done by members they liked. Non CD fans don't want CD type songs. IMO. 3

Bitchisback
The band would be ridiculed to no end of the first album they released in 15 years was a rerecording of the last album they released 15 years ago
rumandraisin
Yes because what CD needs is a 7th guitarist on it.

I don't have any problem with redone or original CD material being released. The original CD lineup is dead forever and I treat it like how I would treat Nirvana. So If they're going to release a new album, I'd prefer it to be from the same band that goes to play it live on stage.

So for me, it wouldn't matter if there are 100+ CD era songs.
Evil Doer
I want Slash and Duff to work on Oh My God and properly release that (I believe Axl said Oh My God was a demo).....leave the rest of the all ready released Chinese Democracy alone. Feed me as much new material as possible........as if that will ever happen!
Gunner Gilby
No. It'd be one thing to rerecord a couple of CD songs for a new best of or something. But I'd rather have a double album or two new albums with the remainder of the CD material with Slash and Duff adding their touch and also some completely new songs. Snytefant
Nah I would rather have a double album with Disc 1 - New Music | Disc 2 - The re-recorded AFD
