Funny to see NME do a review of Glasto and basically mention GNR only in reference to Dave Grohl.

Same journos who "had" to comment about them being on time. But licking the hole off of Lana Del Ray, even though she fucked up her set.

It's cool to only like "modern" music, and maybe give Elton a nod, because well.. they can't go all the way.

Journalists. The back seat drivers of music.

Sadly he gets what he wants, attention but kinda cool, definitely get in ring vibes.

It was a disgusting review from a weird ass person

Yeah, all jokes aside this is some of the worst scum begging for attention, they're not worth anyone's time, even less from the band

Australian ABC only mentioned GNR in relation to Dave Grohl. No such thing as bad press so indifferent press ain't too shab

Probably just Fernando or Beta

I could see that. They are invested in a way most band management are not. If they are like family then you can see them being defensive..

Aspects of British media are basically trolls in the sense that if you respond to them in anger they love it. That's why they sell so much shit based off the people who fire back at them. Its best not to engage at all.

To be fair the tweet is getting mostly supportive responses so it’s not all bad. And imo that little twit reviewer deserves a good bollocking from the fans for his half assed, prejudice article.

It was the daily mail and independent reviews

The Telegraph and The Independent.

Disturbed singer tagged Axl when he defended him on twitter about the Telegraph review. But Axl most likely reads the reviews anyway.

Sad thing is, with everything being done online now as opposed to in person, they thrive off it.

I'm a huge fan of The Wildhearts.

When some journo was writing bollocks about them, 2 of the band simply turned up at their office and *"had a word". Shame you wouldn't really get away with that now but it'd be the one way that would actually get back at them.

*Absolutely trashed the place

I get people sticking up for the band. But if people disagree with what he wrote then what he deserves is to  be ignored.

The people who wrote these reviews know less about the band than the people on this board or gnrevo....possibly more than people on reddit. But why anyone gives a French fried titty fuck what a reviewer says about a show they enjoyed I don't know

Axl did that on their first tour of the UK, I believe it was the Kerrang office.

More folk should.

If some gobshite is happy to write nonsense about you from behind the safety of their computer, how will they deal when you turn up in person for them to explain further.

Jaz Coleman from Killing Joke did it too.

Burst into the writers office, poured a load of worms on the guys desk and started spouting off in Latin at him.

Would imagine his point was made.
