DJs guitar tech needs to be fired.

It's not his fault Dj can't tell when a guitars out of tune... also that intro part is beginner stuff, big whoop your E is flat play it on the B string... any pro guitarist would have rectified the situation finished the part and then switched guitars as soon as possible... this jackass continues playing an out of tune guitar (with up to 10 guitars at the side of the stage waiting for him). Beyond his bad technique he just hasn't got the ears, less time developing ashba swag™ and more developing your ears mate!!! he would then recoginize bad bending and when his guitars out of tune.

How many times has Richard or Bumble played a song wit an out of tune guitar? I'll be surprised if anyone can find that video. Dj should probably switch to a locking nut if he's going to wave off his tech and a new in tune guitar after a song. I'm sure Djs tech is top quality so it has to be dj mucking about thats knocking his guitar out of tune.

Finally, it looked like a lot of people had left. What are they playing to there? 20000? wasn't it like a 60000 capacity ground or something? I would have walked if I heard that solo too! Dj is absolutely terrible, and I don't care if he writes a fantastic song for the next album (ha!) he's still a bad player and that Axl and the rest of the guys don't hear it or at least call him on it speaks volumes for the state of this band.

Yikes!!! that Dj solo at the end of paradise city.... it sounds like Kerry King... on an off day. It's like he's trying to compete with the amateur tapping and attempted shred but he should really just sit back and let the other guys do it... focus on what he's good at and not try and swim with the big boys when your obviously more suited to the kiddy paddling pool.

The original was an off the cuff blues bonanza but it was harmonically correct, in time and while it wasn't Slash's most tasteful playing it certainly worked for the song, I'm all for these guys having fun with the music Ron goes wild with atonal tap licks, richard adds his hybrid country in but both are still working within the parameters of the chords of the song. It honestly sounded like Dj was couldn't see on stage (with all the smoke and confetti) and just picked a random part of the neck to "shred" on.

Ron, Richard... please! give him a guitar lesson, to hell with the new album spend the month working on Dj.

I don't hate on the guy, but that was just straight up bad, right there.

Yikes, indeed.

Watching all these videos have made me excited for the Vegas shows and also grateful for the fact that they will be indoors and not outdoor in the rain and cold.

I was referring more to the weather conditions reported for Rock on the Range.

As I said before all three days were sold out in advance. This was my first time at the festival and for all I know it'd sell out with Kajagoogoo as the headliner. How many people bought tickets just to see Gn'R? No clue but if Gn'R had gone on at 5 when it was warmer out then they would've played to 20,000 or whatever the capacity was. I doubt people were leaving because Gn'R was on but more likely they had been there close to 12 hours and it was cold. They could've also been trying to beat traffic. If Axl was disappointed in the number of people left you couldn't tell it from his performance that night.

There were tons of people walking around all day with Gn'R shirts on and I know I wouldn't have had much interest in driving five hours if they weren't playing.

Okay, so he's like the spokesperson for GNR and primarily there to write and produce new music. So I suppose there's still a chance for new music some day... Bring it on, let's see what he has to bring to the table.
