DannyVinyard
This is trending on top on my Facebook! "Axl Rose ranked as the 'greatest' vocalist ever."! I've already known this forever though. And sorry, but Mercury doesn't hold a candle to Axl IMO.
TeeJay410
I mean it's pretty undebatable as far as vocal range Axl has one of the greatest of all time. What's really surprising, and where he beats most rock singers, is how low he can sing. Might be the sole reason Axl's range is larger than Mercury's.Also to keep in mind is that this only goes by recorded notes. I have no doubt in my mind that many of these singers, particularly mercury, can sing higher and lower than their records. Also, Elton John deserves an asterisk, because his low range only came after his voice got fucked up mid-career. He never had that entire range at the same time.

AxlisOld
Where does Axl hit a Bb6? It isn't an inhaled whistle is it? Because that shit does not count.I mean it's pretty undebatable as far as vocal range Axl has one of the greatest of all time. combos
Anyone who knows Axl's work wouldn't be shocked by this. It's one of the first things I noticed when I first got into them in the late 80's. Axl can sing extremely low and extremely high.
IncitingChaos
I think Axl's range is more impressive live than it is on any record. He pushed his voice to limits that no one else could even attempt. It's hard to not be impressed with Axl's voice. He's number 1 in my book.
