I'm happy that Paul still credits him with helping KISS become a platinum band again after a rough start to the eighties. I know people probably noticed, but Slash has really improved with layering his guitar parts. He was asked in what areas he has improved as a guitar player and he said something like just being able to more easily play an idea he imagined in his head.The way he plays around with Too Far Gone's riff, or BTSS and the arrangement of it, Safari Inn and the brilliant way he rides on the chord progression.
