Yes. Richard was loud as fuck sometimes on his solos while I had to focus and almost strain to hear slash. Richard cut through the mix like a mother fucker on Wish You Were here, then Slash solos and I get flashbacks from the 94 Zakk and Slash jam of Voodoo Chile. Slash was also buried often under Frank's drums. Frank was also too loud in the mix. Fitha_whiskey Posted April 13, 2016 Share Posted April 13, 2016 I kinda thought that overall, the volume was a little low. There were times when Axl talked to the crowd I couldn't hear what he said. And there were 2 dudes sitting to my left who were hammered shitfaced drunk (no big deal in and of itself), but they would not shut up. Ever. But I was surprised I could hear them yammering at all! Usually shows are so loud nobody bothers to try and talk... What's even better from the audio is when the first chord hits and some one is screaming "shot guns blues" starts singing that and then you just hear "it's double talking jive" ???? Gnr has a hundred more sounds going off at any single time than most bands, all of their music is intertwined really well though, so it's easy to spot a mistake in the mix.
