It was my 1st ever GNR show, so I don't really care about new songs etc. The Holy Trinity could come down and play a show and they won't be even near Axl, Slash and Duff. The weather was HOT, the openers were really good and I waited for the real deal. Duff's bass hits for ISE and that's it. That's the last sober memory I have from this show. I didn't drink any alcohol, I was just a kid living his dream. Axl, you fucking legend, killed it. There were times he struggled but gave everything. 3h nonstop at 61. Wow. All these people who say that it's different than Youtube, I couldn't understand it until now. It is different. At least for me, I was in the GA and up front I didn't notice many failures. Slash was a fucking beast. And Duff is in his prime. The rest of the band, especially Richard were top. Fuck the heat, the started later than expected and I didn't hear Coma and Don't Cry. But we did wish Slash a happy bday !!! The crowd in the GA was huge, they were fire at the hits but during Wichita and Locomotive many were bored. I wanted to smash their heads. I'm not sure about the attendance though, I was expecting around 30k ,if anyone knows ,let me know too. This was the last show for the European tour, the band was on fire and they played for their legacy. It's an experience I will never, ever forget. As for the future , Axl said something along the lines , that he wishes he will come back. But Slash's tweet about the show makes me questioning. It is definitely not a see u soon, I don't know if it's a goodbye (at least for some time). Or I am reading too much in this one. Anyway, all my bones are hurting now so it's bedtime.
