As much as I criticize the band, I'd definitely take the 40~ minute drive to see 'em again. Might have to see about grabbing a ticket somehow (or if someone has a spare they want to get rid of, hit me up). As much as I criticize the band, I'd definitely take the 40~ minute drive to see 'em again. Might have to see about grabbing a ticket somehow (or if someone has a spare they want to get rid of, hit me up).You'll probably have to wait til the day before to see them drop on Craig's list or stubhub. Right now the scalpers are asking up to $375 per ticket but as it gets closer to the show they'll drop. If it comes down to it you can always go to the show without a ticket and mess with the scalpers. Any fan on here who tries to double their money by scalping a ticket to another fan is an ass. I've never been there before and figure that since its at a casino, may as well take a chance and gamble on trying to get a meet & get a pic w/ Axl before or after a gig. I'm taking my girl as anniversary gift and would like to make it fuckin awesome by pulinl this off. Its a cool place, and I forget the exact layout but there's clearly a spot out back where it looks like they set everything up and let the people in backstage, etc. I remember cause my friends and I got to the Slash show early and wandered around for a bit and got to a place not far from where we were lined up that clearly were tour buses and we heard Slash soundchecking Civil War inside.I mean, its possible you could meet him, although probably unlikely. In terms of before the show, it appears he doesn't come to rehearsals, so it'd probably be close to showtime, and if you want to try that you'll risk being close to the stage on the GA floor. And if you try afterward, you probably won't be the only one. The spot I'm thinking of was outside and basically in plain sight and open. I'm sure they'll have it blocked off in some sort of way. Its not like one of those small alleys in a club where the guy walks out onto the sidewalk and you have a chance to catch him. The place I'm thinking of was basically a rear parking lot/staging area of the venue. Somewhere they could easily block off if they wanted to.But good luck with it man. I didn't end up meeting Slash the time I was there, just cause I didn't want to wait an hour or so after the show for the band to shower, etc (I've heard thats what they do), but I probably could have if I waited. I don't know how Axl is with meet and greets, but its worth a shot. I'd basically find where the venue is inside and just quickly go around back outside to where it would be and scope out the area. The tour buses literally park in the back parking lot of the venue. It's wide open and pretty much impossible to block off.That's where I met Axl. Of course, it took waiting until about 4:30 AM, but it was absolute worth it.Hell, when I saw the Cult there, I was literally parked right next to the tour buses. Talk about convenience! As soon as I left the House of Blues, I was led into an after show party where Axl showed up at like 4 AM. I've never met anyone at a casino gig (For any band) unless there was a signing session after the gig (Which obviously GN'R don't do).
