Jordan Rose
Yeah, thank you Rick! You made what would have otherwise been a cool night/day on here into one of the most memorable ever. REALLY interesting to hear that BBF isn't 100% sure about leaving. I think he'll go release and tour a record whilst Axl gets his shit together then come back to promote a Guns record with some of his writing credits on.Best case scenario is that and Robin comes back to replace DJ. WhazUp
This is probably the most rapid and confusing Axl transformation ever - just mere months ago he was dreadful and now he sounds amazing!
IncitingChaos
I know some are saying it shouldn't be impressive to play a few old songs and us act like it's an amazing breakthrough. I think we are all excited about Axl being able to pull these songs off in a way he hasn't in the past. The songs are great but the performance is everything
RandallFlagg
TWAT has one of the best solos of all time running during one of the best vocal moments of all time. What a live song too, few guitarists could do it justice, glad we got to see Axl and BBF perform it a couple times, shame we'll never hear the bucket! This is probably the most rapid and confusing Axl transformation ever - just mere months ago he was dreadful and now he sounds amazing! Then again we shouldn't be surprised, Axl Rose remains a conundrum. ZoSoRose
You know, Tokyo 09 was amazing but because of more old songs (Estranged, Yesterdays, UTLH), and most of the best from ChiDem this may be the best NuGNR setlist yet

Subtle Signs
This Forum is great! One minute it's "FUCK FAKE GN'R,AXL IS FAT AND CAN'T SING,THIS IS A NEVER ENDING CASHGRAB TOUR,WHERE IS THE NEW MUSIC?!" Then they play some old songs and it turns into "OMFG BEST GN'R SHOW EVER!!!!!!!111111"I did enjoy the three "new songs" Yesterdays ,Prostitute and TWAT. JUSTICE FOR NGOG!
Bruno P.
It's not about the songs. He is performing every song much better, and when his voice is in better shape, he pulls off those old new songs. I dont know what happened there, but TWAT was probably his best performance of the song ever. Incredibly powerful.
RandallFlagg
Axl did not sound too good in SA and the set was rinsed and repeated, these were facts, we're well aware there's still no new stuff but at least we've heard he has intentions, whether he'll follow them up who knows but Axl has worked up to sounding damn near himself and the variation is very welcome. Never thought he was obese personally.

People say they won't see GN'R again because there's no new music. Well maybe they can continue to tour like this and just throw in a few lesser played Illusions/Chi Dem songs and get the same size audience in the States when they go back on the road. Never thought he was obese personally.Yup. The Rio '14 show was a joke. Buenos Aires was pretty cool, thanks to the Duff factor. But I couldn't get into songs like Nightrain without the rasp. Never thought he'd sing TWAT like that again, especially since the '12 Vegas performances weren't that great. When the HTGTH guys praise shows like Rio '14, it takes away from the greatness of an epic setlist (and more importantly, performance and actual show) like last night. It would be silly to expect every single show to be a classic, or for songs like Prostitute and TWAT to be played at every show, but the last couple of shows seem to be the best Axl has given since Philly 2012, by far.
IncitingChaos
Last night Axl did a 3.5 hour set. A lot of jams and some covers but the setlist had something for everyone. He didn't cut anything to make room for anything he just built on what was already there. Fans that attended are lucky. It's not too often you get to hear that many songs from a band.
