It's almost impossible that Spain and England don't have to play and eventually lose against some country that was theirs. Actually the Dutch were part of the Spanish Empire too, which means Spain didn't completely lose any of these matches. This WC will be for Brazil. And who conquered Brazil? In all honesty, I am sad for some of the Spanish players. It was a team that made me enjoy football a lot and they didn't deserve such an awful WC. Still, no big surprise here.
