I really hope Steven continues to tour and play the rest of the US cities. I would love to see him live and healthy! He looked so great and that hair! Love it! Just hope Axl doesnt lose his voice before the next show I'm going to in pgh. Vocals were a little rough on My Michelle. Was great seeing popcorn grinning ear to ear behind that kit though. Not that I am expecting him back full time there is no doubt in my mind he could play the whole shows. He played on Appetite AND LIES so those are all "his" songs.. As you and others have said, a good chunk of the Illusions songs go back before he was canned and he could certainly handle any of them. As for the people that are worried about the CD songs. I am sure he can handle those too. Can he really screw them up any more than Frank screws up his songs? I gotta say this was equally, if not more, exciting than Slash re-joining. Steven was the last piece of the puzzle. The last one to be reconciled. I love Frank, I think he is a great guy but it should be Adler every time on AFD material, no one can play it the way he does. I'd take two drummers, splitting the material in a heartbeat. Overall though, the fact that the guy seems to have been to hell and back and come out looking happy and healthy is all that matters.
