I must be in the minority here but I don’t think he sounded anywhere near as bad as the comments I’ve read here. PC is often a struggle for him but even that sounded OK on the feed I watched. The outro of Patience was also good, I didn’t see the rest of the song.

That actually was a decent PC.

He gave it a good go to be fair, still get the feeling though that he was right on the edge of his voice just going totally though during the last few songs, but he powered through it!

I bet he couldn't sing much after PC though if he needed to, that was a voice buster type effort.

I think the key to having success with his vocal performance is to find songs that he can sing really well consistently. If that means we don't get to hear a few of the hits, so be it.

I think he will be fine though, he always starts a little rough.

Ya we've said this past couple of legs and there was no REAL improved by the end of the tours...THIS time I can see a slight improvement as his memory of lyrics, way he sings songs comes back a bit...but the old tried first show back - "he's rusty...he'll be good by the end of the tour" has not been applicable for a while now IMO...
I hope he brings it for Download, a hard crowd there for sure !

Not just Axl- that was the best paced PC I've heard in a while.

Did you hear Nightrain, it was very different from normal, IMO some of it sounded cool, but that was the sound of a man struggling badly There was alot of other weak songs or songs where he dropped the notes (especially from TIL onwards) or just skipped certain notes.

Patience and PC were probably two of the better vocal efforts tonight.

He played a Velvet Revolver song and still received all of this magnificent praise. I'd hate to see what would happen if he played ''Atlas Shrugged'' or something newly written with Slash and Duff: ''I cannot believe he'd ruin this new song with his suck voice''.

The thing is, this show might seem short, but by most standards (including AC/DC’s) it’s still long.

Wouldn't matter about length at all if it had been shorter to benefit the vocal experience...
it was shorter cause Axl is not right...Maybe woke up with something today, who knows!
he is human...I definitely will reserve judgement till 4th, 5th show...

Let's hope Axl doesn't read this thread!

But in all seriousness, he needs to drop more 3 or 4 songs from the setlists and do shorter sets, he needs "to quit AC/DC", otherwise he will fuck up his voice completely, and he needs to get a vocal coach that understands his genre of singing.

Tonight he brought us a surprise, and we should respect and cherish that. Even if he didn't make it right, he tried...
