Perhaps Axl pulled it with plans to replace it with how he always intended  it to be eg. a triple album with proper artwork etc.

Pure speculation obviously but makes sense instead of a standard remaster like AFD and considering the upcoming anniversary.

If thats the case i'll be the happiest person ever. Hopefully you are right, but knowing its GNR, idk, it wouldnt be the first time we are dissapointed, so no big hopes.

I tried to find CD on MySpace but it seems long gone. Some guy on YouTube had all CD tracks up on his channel for quite a few years since like 2010, and they only just got pulled like a month or so ago. Seems like certainly is some in house cleaning going on right now being GNR or the label. Could be an issue with some legal rights, or an issue with some streaming services.

I would think if it meant anything it would have been taken down everywhere. This issue just seems to be a Spotify thing.

That's what I was thinking. If it was intentional, I don't think they would be putting random songs up and taking them down a few minutes later.

In Finland, Spotify shows Chinese Democracy, all songs, but only the title track you can listen completely. All other tracks only gives you either 9 or 25 seconds from the beginning :D it doesn't make sense.

BUT - it was this way already June 1st. That's when I noticed it.. Weird, since I remember listening to the album from there probably earlier this year, or last year.

If I'm guessing, it's another move from Axl against streaming platforms and unpaid, low yield music services.

How would that make sense?  You can buy CD just about anywhere for under $10....maybe even under $5 if you look hard enough....(which I would guess would be at a net loss to the record label) ...surely the royalties they would get from streaming services would be at least a modest profit?

I use Google music in Ireland, and I have every Guns song (released) from '86 onwards, including CD and Alt lyric Don't cry.

I'd say it's some weird mix up, or somehow they haven't been paying correct royalties for CD material and Don't cry Alt. so the label pulled them while Spotify and the other platforms rectify it, that's the only explanation I can think of considering everything else is still up.

Maybe Axl can pull CD but needs permisson from slash etc for the other albums?

Maybe he realized it's a pile of cock.

Every rime I listen to it I feel like I've been flashed by a fat dude with a shit porn stache and a small hairy ginger mickey.

That he can't get up.

 But that's just how I feel 😂
