Popular Post Live Like a Suicide
It seems to be getting an average response from general audiences. Honestly though, i think all of this solo stuff is great. Sure, it's different and odd, but that's what makes it interesting and fun to listen to. I would rather listen to this, Chip Away or Tenderness on repeat for 24 hours than [insert generic song here] from SMKC's Living the Dream. 5 1
soon
Song keeps getting better as it goes! The Sax solo is gorgeous. With the horn section and sax leads at the end it reminds me of a mix of Beatles and Pink Floyd. This album has really exposed me to what an amazing producer Shooter is. Lots of good production going on here, I especially like that the acoustic guitar at the start has some rough edges. And I like the pick noise through out!

default_
From what Ive listened this will probably be his most interesting album aside GNR. Could never get into his pop punk stuff, way too generic to my tastes but this is just simple and great. Love the sax.
gnfnrs1972
His voice is more annoying than Myles Kennedy.
triad
So I listened to this and Tenderness again on YouTube. At least Duff's trying to say something. Then the next song came up and I was like, oh, this sounds even better! Spoiler It was Shuffle It All by Izzy.

Draguns
Saxophone solo is really good on this song. I would love to hear some GNR songs incorporate sax.

soon
Oh shit.... Its Breakdown During first verse (start at 0:36 on Dont Look Behind You). Before the beat drops you can sing the opening lines of Breakdown over it. Then the the bass line articulates the other section of Breakdown 0:55-1:25 Edited April 22, 2019 by soon

The next part has basically the same chord progression as "comfortably numb" by pink floyd. No big deal IMO, a lot of songs share the same progressions (for example- a large quantity of "modern pop" has the VI-IV-I-V-progression, usually in the key of A minor).

I think that is about the same price as I paid to see Slash/Conspirators. I rather expected McKagan to be charging about the same prices as Gilby Clarke, i.e. a tenner at the door. Swedish
This is the best single released from this album imo! It's the only one if them that I've actually gone out of my way to listened to more that once or twice.
soon
True about the price. I think that the Shooter Jennings aspect is supposed to expand the draw (Unless the Euro run isnt with Shooter?) and they had Jonesy guest recently. No doubt shooters entire lineup has their own handfull of fans too? But yeah, at the Sharon Osborne Roast, Wylde mocked Duff as the least popular member of GnR and made some joke in reference to Gilby in fact, lol. Honestly as long as Duff has a sound guy, its head and shoulders over a Gilby production right there.
Lio
That is odd. It's only 33 EUR here, Slash cost me double as much.
MillionsOfSpiders
Yeah, Duff has priced me out with those ticket prices. I was interested in the Manchester show but not any more.
