Slash can't contain his excitement. Duff does an interview with a major media source. Izzy Stradlin shows up and says he co-wrote 3 of the songs! Management reminds Axl it's time to do some promotion for the new record! One song still contains an old Buckethead guitar solo. GNR announce a series of club dates featuring the original 5 band members. Axl tells Rolling Stone magazine he's really happy with the new songs. GNR appear on an episode of South Park. Fans around the world are thrilled to hear new GNR songs. MYGNR servers explode from all the traffic to the site. However, one reviewer from a small-town newspaper in Idaho posts a slightly negative review, complaining about the swearing in a couple of tracks. Axl Rose announces he is going to build a time machine. Eventually, he succeeds and goes back in time to the day before the new album is released. The next day, Guns n' Roses re-release Appetite For Destruction with all the swear words bleeped out. GNR continue to tour for the next 17 years, but no new songs are ever released. Some fans remain convinced that somehow, somewhere GNR did release a new album, but everyone else says it was all a dream. Out of anyone who has been in that band after the first lineup, that's who I would sit down and have a beer with. He was there from when Slash and Duff were, straight through to the CD era, the guy must have amazing stories. Doubt we will ever hear them though. Dizzy talking about how they had recorded material since Chinese came out, that they (Axl) were picking songs from the recordings. I would love to know exactly what happened in Axls mind that he decided to shelve it and move towards a reunion. It has to be more than Bumblefoot leaving. Ashba wasn't going anywhere until he found out that he was getting shit canned / demoted because Slash was coming home. He still had a full band if he wanted to tour.
