Definitely knew he always plays Oasis songs live and needs them to beef up his live set. Interesting Noel isn't selling out venues. Listening to his current album and there's some good songs and 1 or 2 magnificently great songs on there, and you wonder if liams voice on the rest of the album if it would be the secret sauce to propel the songs to the next level. No probs! I was a massive Oasis fan, since their start, so it's really bizarre and surprising to me too to see how Liam's popularity has skyrocketed. I credit a lot of it to nostalgia.....but then his new albums sell loads too, so it's not just that. I think "a massive Guns N Roses fan" is a bit of a reach! He played before them at one point (I think at a festival somewhere) but other than that, I've barely heard him mention them. My mate is at Glasto and will record what he can from the set for me. He missed the Tottenham show last year due to coming down with covid the day before and I felt bad for him missing out. At least he gets to see them this year. I have tried so many years to get tickets but never succeeded. See who we get to join. Didn't know it had started yet actually! There's a few weird things like that at Glastonbury- bands further down the bill than I'd have thought they would be.
