Nothing of this is late evidence. I thought something new would have come up. 

And do I need to say that there is much more evidence suggesting there is enough material for a complete album? No, I don't.

So. The label or some company close to gnr released it to early.  Someone made the website link with the release for 11th. And somehow later it turned up on jukeboxes. And management is angry at fans for sharing something that should have been released month ago or a week ago. 

 

How is this the fault of fans. They could have brought n official announcement out as in. Per day we had a miscommunication and it got released too soon.  Here is the official one and have fun!!

 

Or. Wait a Lil bit longer. It will "soon" be released "perhaps"

He could have also completely erased the entire recording like with the TIL demo in 1992. What's the point in speculating this way? There's 1000 scenarios if we go by what could have happened. It's better to go by what we know for a fact, and that is that it's probably not coming out with those lyrics it has, or had.

It's a case of operating as if it's still the pre-internet days, even though everything and everyone has changed, including attitudes toward things of this nature. In today's world, most people do not consider music a commodity. So if you put it out there, even on accident, and then people start listening to it and you shame them for it? You're just going to be viewed as assholes. Better to just Tweet (X?) out something humorous (Oppps. Our bad etc.), congratulate those who got to hear it and chalk it all up the good vibes and free advertisement. Anything less in 2023 is just blatant ignorance, imo.

Atleast that's the trajectory I'm seeing for future releases. At this current pace of 2 songs every 2 years that's not gonna happen maybe at all ever. I mean what reason was there to hold onto Perhaps for 2 years after Hard Skool, there is no rhyme or reason to anything.

Don’t they hold onto these ‘new’ songs so they coincide with a tour?? I assumed the only real reason they were releasing these songs at all was to maintain interest from the hardcore fans, whilst they continue to tour their greatest hits.

I honestly don’t think Axl has any intention of recording NEW music ever again.

They took the ‘hey heys’ and the scream from the mac daddy part and Frankensteined them into Hard Skool, so I’m pretty sure that part will never be used. I’m guessing Axl said they could use that part for scraps. However the actual main vocal part where Axl sings eye on you, I could actually see them using that for something new, it’s quite catchy!

I wouldn’t say it’s not coming out on Friday just because it was taken off the app. I’ve been pretty vocal about my opinion though that there’s a good chance that they may delay or shelve the release to spite us further now that we’ve heard it. But it being taken off the app isn’t proof of that.

If it doesn’t happen this Friday though, in my opinion it’ll either come out in months, years, or never.

Where do things stand as far as recording new Guns N' Roses music?
We recorded a lot of things before Chinese was out. We've worked more on some of those things and we've written a few new things. But basically, we have what I call kind of the second half of Chinese. That's already recorded. And then we have a remix album made of the songs from Chinese. That's been done for a while, too. But after Vegas [Guns N' Roses is performing a residency at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino that runs through early June], we're going to start looking very seriously at what we're doing in that regard.
