The entire quotes section from Maddy was omitted. I guess that's why we can now actually hear Fortus (who was great tonight)

That paired with an awesome and somehow unpredictable setlist made it special for sure.
Popular Post LBruttle
What a fucking show, the whole band was on fire especially AXL. Best show in the last 3-4 years easily, all you haters get off your fucking asses and go see them before it's too late. Tomorrow is promised to no one. Popular Post SoulMonster
It's quite remarkable that a 60-year old can hit those notes. A lot can be said about his power at certain ranges, and shifting between voices, but he still hits notes far and beyond what I can do. Loud and powerful. 4

Popular Post Coma16
Not gonna write up a long review but some key opinions: - they started nearly 40 minutes late, not Axl's fault, so I was expecting one of the shorter shows (my inner Craig came out). I was pleasantly surprised! - place was jam packed (which led to the later start time). Most people were there right till the end. - the only song I wasn't crazy about was Hardskool. Not that it was bad, I just don't like the way its sung. - the sound (and voice) was great. - I heard 8(!) songs I haven't heard live before (9 if you want to include TV Eye) - was nice to hear Reckless and Anything Goes, but I wouldn't be disappointed if I never heard them again. - Maddy, Twat, and even Coma were sublime - I like Witchita, and the acoustic section is great, so I didn't mind it. - Don't Cry would have been the cherry on top... - lastly, the pacing of the show was great. I remember back in 2017 each song sort of dragged, not last night. It was very tight!

Also I want that jacket, I'm glad the 2010-style jackets are back I wonder if Slash acknowledges to himself just how fucking awesome that Bucket TWAT solo is, he's doing a great job on it now. 3

Yeah, I like how he keeps true to the main, important themes of the solo, but then plays it with his style.
Popular Post Drakestar
Wow. So tired. Took us over four hours to get home (Normally 2.5 or so). Should have stayed over but couldn’t justify the stupid cost of a hotel. I was expect A similar setlist as when we saw them last (2 weeks ago in Pittsburgh. Played 8:07 until 11:15. We were 10 rows back on the floor. Nice being that close even though we were towards the side. When we bought lithos, the guy said the show specific shirts were still on a truck driving there. We didn’t get one, I’m not sure if they ever showed up, I checked merch several times and didn’t see any (although someone mentioned that there was a black and white one). Silly that the preshow merch was inside the Jays shop. It was great when we were there, but then they closed it and used it for the VIP ticket holders at 3:30. So whatever special privileged shopping experience they were given didn’t matter since I was already in there 2.5 hours before them. I’m looking to trade a Toronto Litho for a Pittsburgh one. show #12 for me. Quite please. Edited September 4, 2023 by Drakestar 5

Popular Post FuriousStyles
Awesome show! Couldn't believe how many people had VIP packages. I got pushed all the way to the end stage (Slash side) but was up close and personal for that TWAT solo! When I saw Duff and Axl give each other a head nod after It's So Easy, I knew it was going to be an awesome night! And it was! That Coma - Nightrain - Paradise City ender was a banger! 6
